DESCRIPTION

Nurses will care for patients with various illnesses or traumas that require emergency attention. Nurses must be able to recognize and treat life-threatening conditions and be experienced in rapid assessment and treatment for patients. They must be ready and able to treat these wide varieties of illnesses and traumas—anywhere from fevers to heart attacks—to people of all ages.

Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the emergency room and uphold the mandatory BCLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications consist of TNCC, PALS and CPI.
