Job Description

Reporting to the Transport Manager, the position includes the following responsibilities: 

• Sydney/Parkes/Sydney shuttle work and local business collections.
• Various shifts from Monday to Saturday.
• Travelling to various customers sites and preparing trucks to be unloaded/loaded, opening of rear doors (use of ratchet straps/opening curtains or gates when required).
• Effective time management to ensure timeslots are met
• Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements. In line with company standards and government regulations.
• Performing vehicle pre-start checks. Reporting any defects / safety concerns to supervisor – Both within MT Data environment and manually.
• Fill out Drivers Daily Worksheets, pallet details, amendments, or additions
• Perform general housekeeping of the Prime Movers, Trailers & SCT & Customers premises
