Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Undermanager, you work in collaboration with the Undermanager, Deputies, UG Mechanical Engineering Manager and Maintenance Planner.
The role will require you to:
Manage and supervise all mechanical activities on shift.Provide technical support and direction in relation to mechanical maintenance and operations.Maintain safety and electrical standards.Skills and Experience
Hold a mechanical trade, or mechanical engineering qualification.Sound understanding of the NSW Coal Mining Legislation and how it relates to underground mining processes.Superior problem-solving skills.Ability to build, coach and lead the shift mechanical team.Previous experience as a supervisor at a modern longwall operation.Benefits
