The Opportunity

Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. has new exciting opportunities for an Underground Charge up/Blaster at the Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia. This role operates on a FIFO rotation of 14 days on / 14 days off.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Underground Charge Up/Blaster is responsible for the proper handling, storing, transporting and use of explosives, performing the assigned tasks while meeting safety standards, targets and deadlines to maximize productivity and profitability.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Demonstrate commitment to adhere to all Mine site safety rules, procedures and regulations, while ensuring the safety of others
• Follow instructions or diagrams, depending on the drill pattern to determine explosives quantities and development face timing
