About the role

We’re on the lookout for a solid operator to join the crew as a Charge Up Operator. If you know your way around underground mining and can handle explosives safely and efficiently, this could be your next gig. You’ll be right in the thick of it, making sure charges are prepped and fired off safely in stopes and development headings – keeping the whole operation ticking along smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

• Taking care of all the shot firing and explosive handling – by the book and by the regs.
• Keeping the magazine under control and making sure re-entry procedures are followed to the letter.
• Helping out with hole casing and whatever else the Supervisor throws your way.
• Always keeping safety front and centre – for you and the crew.
