Underwriter, Public, Financial Lines

At AIG Canada, we reimagine the way we help customers manage risk. We’re seeking an Underwriter to drive profitable growth in Public, Financial Lines by crafting innovative solutions for complex risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite a range of current and renewal business, using relationship building skills.
• Work closely with brokers to communicate risk appetite, understand deal structures, and convey our value proposition.
• Negotiate pricing, terms & conditions, and deal structures with brokers and clients.
• Generate new business by expanding broker network, attending broker events, and building market relationships.
• Collaborate with AIG Distribution, territory managers, and underwriters in other lines to target desirable accounts and cross‑selling opportunities.
