New Business and Underwriting assesses all the risks the applicants for insurance represent. The impact of the whole risk on mortality and morbidity should be properly assessed. These risks include medical impairments, financial, avocational, occupational, geographical, political risk, and insurable interest.

**Position Responsibilities:**

+ **Underwriting** : Ensure cases are paid with sufficient premium and all documents are properly documented. Responsible for the integrity of the underwriting approval of all applications within underwriting authority limits. Performs a variety of routine and complex administrative areas related to Underwriting.
+ **Company Representation:** Actively participate in seminars and other activities on behalf of the company in various associations (PLIA, MIB, HOLUAP).
