Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a UNIT DEPLOYMENT MANAGER, Position Description Number T6378000 and is part of the NE 155 MSG, National Guard. Responsibilities As a UNIT DEPLOYMENT MANAGER, GS-0301-9, duties include: 1. Deployment Planning and Execution: Plans, organizes, and oversee all unit-level deployment activities. Configures and maintains functional Unit Type Codes (UTCs) as postured by MAJCOM Functional Area Managers (FAMs) using authorized unit resources. Notifies the Installation Deployment Officer (IDO) and MAJCOM FAM of UTC shortfalls due to manpower or equipment changes. Monitors UTC/UMD alignment and notifies leadership of mismatches. Develops workload mitigation plans to maximize deployable capability. Reviews deployment documents to identify personnel and equipment taskings.
