Family in Rock Barra/Souris, Prince Edward Island, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated elder care provider. This role is for a live-out, part-time position (ideally 3 times a week for 4 hours) focused on home care and personal care for our beloved family member.
As an elder care provider, you will assist with daily activities, ensuring comfort and safety in a warm and friendly environment. Your responsibilities will include showering assistance/ personal hygiene, meal preparation for one meal and companionship to enhance quality of life and allow family to leave the home for errands and appointments.
We value reliability and kindness in our caregiver. You should have experience in elder care and be able to support a 130 lb adult. He is cooperative and able to walk, but a little unsteady in his feet. We have a shower chair and rails.
