Urgent locum GP Anaesthetist coverage required at Forbes District Hospital for a short block in July 2026.

Sole Doctor on call 24/7. No registrars available on site; locum must perform neonatal resuscitation and baby checks. Support from ED doctors and on-call specialists is available. Fatigue breaks managed via Virtual Rural Generalist Service (VRGS). Doctors must bring their own PBS/RPBS authority prescription forms.

Must hold FRACGP/FACRRM with advanced anaesthetics training (JCCA or equivalent). Current neonatal resuscitation certificate (PROMPT) or proven competency in neonatal resuscitation and baby checks is mandatory. Must complete WNSWLHD credentialing and eMeds/EMR/BTF training.
