These are SEASONAL positions for the Streets Department.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, repair, and maintain public streets and rights-of-way, including street signs, pavement markings, trees, and community relation projects.
Perform required labor involved in the construction and maintenance of pavement cutting, crack sealing, base repair, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, wheelchair ramp repair, tree removal, and snow removal.
Operate, maintain, and perform minor repairs to light and heavy equipment (backhoe, loader, chainsaws, welders, etc.). Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of assigned equipment and tools by cleaning and checking equipment and tools before and after use. Report defects or needed repairs to the lead worker or supervisor.
