Conduct inspections of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in line with approved procedures and local authority requirements.
Inspect key vehicle systems including brakes, steering, suspension, tires, lighting, chassis/body, engine, and emissions-related items where applicable.
Identify defects, non-conformities and safety issues, record findings accurately in inspection reports or systems.
Verify vehicle identity and condition, including visual and mechanical checks, and support pass/fail decisions based on inspection criteria.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety and operational procedures while maintaining professional interaction with customers or vehicle owners.
Qualifications
Diploma / technical qualification in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
