Job Title: Veneer Lead Hand

Job Description

This role leads day-to-day activities in the veneer department, working hands-on with the team to ensure high-quality production, efficient workflow, and on-time completion of work orders. You will support and mentor crew members, oversee material preparation and equipment setup, and help maintain consistent standards in veneer processing and architectural woodworking.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate daily tasks for the veneer team to ensure work orders are completed on time and workflow remains steady across all stations.
• Work alongside the crew on the production floor, sharing techniques and best practices in veneer processing, cabinetry, and woodwork.
• Support and coach new team members, helping them learn to use equipment such as slicers, guillotines, stitchers, and presses safely and effectively.
