Position Overview
RESPONSIBILITIES:
β’ Conducts proper monitoring of health condition by doing daily rounds.
β’ Initiates prompt identification, medication and management of sick animals.
β’ Diagnoses disease or any abnormal conditions through physical and behavioural observation as basis for proper treatment.
β’ Prescribe proper treatment and medication to sick animals depending on the clinical signs shown by the animals.
β’ Accomplish routine, emergency and post-mortem examination (Necropsy) that can help for proper diagnosis.
β’ Collects samples such as blood, serum, tissue sample, water, feeds, intestinal contents for laboratory testing.
β’ Performs an epidemiological evaluation of disease outbreak, disease movement, and seasonality of disease to establish preventive measures.
β’ Monitors the mortality and morbidity rate of all departments being supervised and collects data of established facts.
β’ Oversees vaccination based on protocol.
