**VCA Mission Animal and Bird Hospital** is seeking an experienced **Veterinary Assistant** to join our team.

**Location:** 655 Benet Rd, Oceanside, CA 92058

**Salary:** $21 to $22 per hour

**Schedule:** Full-time, Thursday - Sunday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm or 8:30 am to 7:00 pm

In this position, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include:

+ Maintaining medical records.
+ Preparing the surgical suite and surgical patients.
+ Filling prescriptions.
+ Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
+ Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.
