Summary As a Veterinary Medical Officer (Agriculture Quarantine Inspection), you have field oversight responsibility for operational procedures established to prevent the introduction and establishment of infectious, contagious, or communicable diseases of livestock and poultry and plant pests and diseases into the United States through the medium of imported animal products, animal by-products, and related materials such as regulated garbage (i.e., animal disease exclusion activities).
