Veterinary Pathologist – Production Animal Focus

IdealX Laboratories in Wiri, NZ is seeking a Veterinary Pathologist with a production animal focus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret laboratory results across a range of diagnostic areas to provide clear, cohesive insights.
• Perform post‑mortem examinations on production animals.
• Undertake histopathology and/or cytopathology on submitted samples from all species.
• Work closely with production animal veterinarians, providing specialist guidance and support.
• Connect findings across clinical pathology, serology, parasitology and other data sources.
• Contribute to a more integrated diagnostic approach within the large animal space.
• Engage with the local veterinary and farming community in a meaningful and practical way.
