Veterinary Technician Position

Briarcrest Veterinary Clinic is a small animal practice in West Houston owned by Dr. Larry White. With the assistance of his staff he treats dogs, cats, reptiles, exotics, rabbits, pocket pets, wildlife and birds. The variety of animals keeps the day exciting.

Our technicians are such an important part of our team. Relationships with clients are developed by communication through exams, treatments, hospitalizations and surgeries.

A typical day would include surgery admissions, treatment of hospitalized pets, performing in clinic blood work as well as preparing samples for off-site labs, file documentation & invoicing, assisting with appointments, filling prescriptions, performing technician appointments, surgery prep, assisting in surgery, performing dental cleanings, client call backs, surgery discharge and inventory management.
