Position Overview

            Job Description

Administering the virtual computing environment (such as VMware vSphere)
Administering monitoring solutions for virtual environments
Patch management, managing backups and restores
Administering, supporting and monitoring of hardware servers, fibre optic fabrics and data storage
Troubleshooting of virtual environments
Tuning, optimizing and capacity planning
Recommending and implementing best practices and security standards
Updating the technical documentation and operating procedures
Implementing changes according to ICT change management procedures
Providing 2nd line support to other IT teams and coordinating with 3rd line of support
Participation in coordination and project meetings- Other specific duties aligned to profile as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of IT experience.
