Job Description:
The Ohio University Department of Food and Nutrition Sciences invites applications for a full-time, in-person, Visiting Professor position on the Athens campus beginning approximately August 16, 2026. This is a 9-month, non-tenure track appointment for the 2026-2027 academic year and may be extended up to a maximum of 3 years depending on funding and departmental need.
Primary responsibilities may include undergraduate and graduate instruction, with a typical teaching load of 8 courses per academic year. Teaching assignments will include quantity foods and foodservice management coursework as well as other nutrition courses. The successful candidate will also collaborate with the Atrium Café, a department-run café located in Grover Center, which serves as a unique experiential learning environment for students.
