The Virtual Learning Academy (VLA) is seeking a substitute teacher to support students in grades 4-12.

Major Responsibilities:


+ Deliver pre-planned lessons provided by the regular teacher using virtual platforms (e.g., Google Meet, Zoom, Google Classroom).

+ Facilitate class discussions and activities in a remote setting.

+ Take attendance and report absences.

+ Monitor student participation and engagement during live sessions.

+ Maintain a positive and respectful virtual classroom environment.

+ Redirect off-task behavior and encourage participation.

+ Assist students with basic technology issues.


Job Qualifications

Min. Qualifications:


+ Bachelor's Degree preferred. Associate's degree considered.

+ Access to a personal computer and a reliable internet connection.

+ Experience working with students in a virtual or hybrid environment.
