Organizational Context and Scope

Under the overall supervision of the Head of the Protection Unit and the direct supervision of the Data Analysis Officer, the Data Scientist Programme Support Officer will support the development and roll‑out of the first international standards and guidance on human trafficking administrative data, and will contribute to the production of new evidence based on such data.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the first international standards and guidance on the definition, collection, management, and safe use of human trafficking data.
• Support the consultative process of data standard development with central government agencies and national government organizations, in coordination with IOM and UNODC offices throughout (including bilateral consultations and workshops).
