Position Overview

  1. Data Modeling & Architecture
  • Expert in Dimensional Modeling fact/ dimension design conformed dimensions late-arriving facts
  • Expert building Gold layers in Lakehouse architectures
  • Understands business domain granularity e.g. Account Customer Product Transaction Channel Campaign etc.
  1. Databricks & Unity Catalog
  • Unity Catalog admin-level experience:
  • Managing schemas tables access controls and lineage
  • Tagging and auditing assets
  • Proficient in Delta Lake DBSQL and Spark optimizatio
  • Familiar with Lakehouse gold-tier architecture performance tuning: z-ordering caching file sizes partitioning
  1. Metadata & Data Governance
  • Experience locking data definitions and enforcing semantic consistency
  • Build and maintain a data dictionary and business glossary
  • Knows how to push back against spaghetti data ingestion from bronze/ silver...
