Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Test Strategy & Planning
  • Define the overall test strategy (manual, automation, performance, security, UAT and required other type of test).

  • Create and maintain the Test Plan, including scope, timelines, resources, tools, and risks.

  • Decide test entry/exit criteria and quality gates.
  • Test Execution & Control
  • Ensure test cases are designed, reviewed, and executed effectively.

  • Monitor testing progress against plan and adjust as needed.

  • Ensure defect lifecycle is followed correctly (logging, triage, retesting, closure).
  • Defect & Risk Management
  • Facilitate defect triage meetings with development and stakeholders.

  • Assess quality risks and communicate their impact clearly.

  • Ensure high-severity defects are resolved or mitigated before release.
