Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a VP, Warehouse Automation & Distribution Center Transformation for their Remote location. Responsibilities:

+ Own E2E warehouse operating model (inbound, storage, picking, packing, VAS, shipping, returns).

+ Create reference architectures and playbooks for brownfield and greenfield sites, including throughput modeling, labor planning, slotting, and wave strategies.

+ Help define the right automation approaches (GTP, ASRS etc) for different objectives and be able to work with Industrial Engineering firms to help design the layout and automation capabilities.

+ Work with Industrial Engineers and others to simulate the throughput of such a layout and automation investment and use these simulations to validate hypothesis/business case
