Position Overview

            About the job Warehouse Assistant (West) Receive and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and damage. 
Unload, unpack, and label items for storage. 
Match goods with delivery orders, invoices, or purchase orders. 
Store items in designated areas according to standard procedures (e.g., FIFO/FEFO). 
Ensure proper handling of items. 
Assist in cycle counts and stock-taking exercises. 
Report any discrepancies or stock damages to supervisors. 
Pick and pack items accurately for delivery or customer orders. 
Prepare items for dispatch including labeling, scanning, and documentation. 
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area. 
Ensure aisles and exits are free of obstructions. 
Follow safety protocols. 
Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, trolley). 
Perform basic upkeep of equipment and report issues promptly.
