BASIC FUNCTION
Under the general supervision of the Materials Coordinator, this position is responsible for receiving, storing and supplying to production areas of raw materials, purchased parts, packaging and spare parts as needed based on the production plan or kanban requirements.
Must also ensure that all material received and every movement is transacted properly in a timely manner in the ERP system to avoid inventory discrepancies and errors.
Enforce and maintain 5s throughout the areas to avoid waste and hazard working conditions.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrate workload for the warehouse, production supermarket and receiving.
Inform of storage bin errors, receiving and material discrepancies.
Work closely with production departments, quality and Schedulers in order to assure appropriate sequencing of orders, kanban triggers based on requirement.
