Water Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Christchurch or Wellington, New Zealand (other GHD locations may also be considered).

About the role

The role involves supporting the design and delivery of water infrastructure solutions across the full project lifecycle, from planning and investigations through to detailed design and construction support.

You will work as part of multi‑disciplinary teams delivering technically robust and practical outcomes for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning, design and delivery of water infrastructure projects, including water supply, wastewater and stormwater systems
• Contribute to the design of pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs and associated infrastructure
• Undertake engineering analysis, calculations and documentation to support project outcomes
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and specifications in line with project requirements
