Overview

Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on M240D machine guns and other associated equipment, mounts, squibs, CAD/PAD, and shop support items in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and the PWS.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY:

Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on M240D machine guns and other associated equipment, mounts, squibs, CAD/PAD, and shop support items in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and the PWS.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

+ Performs cleaning and corrosion treatment on gun system components.

+ Removes and replaces aircraft installed weapons systems components and equipment.

+ Removes and installs guns.

+ Perform flightline functions including preflight and postflight weapons requirements to include guard duties as directed.

+ Document all inspection and maintenance actions in aircraft forms and IMDS.
