POSITION SUMMARY:

The E-Commerce Web Editor is responsible for creating, proofing, editing, and optimizing written content across Menards.com and maintaining our style guide for content. The Web Editor works under the direction of the Web Merchandiser ensuring standards for written content are met and that all content is optimized for SEO and AEO. The Web Editor is responsible for ensuring content accuracy, reinforcing brand voice standards across the site, and improving SEO and AEO page ranking.



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


+ Create, edit, proofread, and publish web content while maintaining brand voice and editorial standards.


+ Including Buying Guides, SEO Text, on-site How-To Articles, and Product Enhanced Content.


+ Proof and publish website content updates.

+ Proof Private Label packaging.
