As a Welder you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to join metal parts and structures following blueprints and instructions to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
Responsibilities - Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements
- Measure and mark metal parts to be welded according to specifications
- Set up welding equipment and ensure proper operation and maintenance
- Select appropriate welding method based on the type of metal and project requirements
- Use various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, ARC etc to join metal parts
- Inspect welds for accuracy, strength and compliance with specifications
