Welder and Fabricator
Leicester Based – 13 weeks Temp to Permanent
Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm
£16ph to £19ph depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MIG and TIG welding on a range of materials, with a focus on stainless steel
- Fabricate components from engineering drawings, including heavy gauge materials (up to ~20mm)
- Work across both fabrication and welding, maintaining a 50/50 split in duties
- Assemble fabricated parts into finished industrial weighing equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed to a high level of precision
- Support the wider production process, including mechanical assembly and basic electrical elements where required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
