As a Welder II with Safco, you will set up and perform all functions of welding which are essential to our business that meet cosmetic quality standards.
This full-time position reports directly to the designated Production Supervisor and is located at Safco’s manufacturing plant in Milford, IA.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setup and perform welding per prints including (spot welding, robotic welder and MIG welding)
- Any required finishing of the product to meet workmanship standard (grinding and sanding)
- Enter work order data required for labor reporting into the computer system
- Use inspection equipment and review blueprints to ensure work is meeting or exceeding quality standards
