Summary You will serve as a WELDER LEADER in the Machine Shop Branch (Code 1440.2) Production Division (Code 1440) in the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC) (Code 1400) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will provide technical direction to welders, shipfitters and helpers in the manufacture and repair of propeller and propulsor components utilized on naval vessels. You will perform electric arc welding utilizing various processes, such as mig, tig and shielded electrode, in the repair and manufacture of propeller and propulsor components.
