Perform various welding processes such as Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), depending on the employer’s requirements.
Prepare and assemble metal parts by cutting, grinding, and fitting before welding.
Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.
Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery in good condition.
Follow strict safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Participate in skills development activities and comply with the training curriculum outlined by the TITP.
Assist with general workshop duties as required by the employer.
