We’re hiring a **Fit-Up Welder** to join our custom fabrication job shop. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys working independently, and wants to be involved in the full fabrication process—from fit-up to final weld.

You’ll set up your own equipment, weld to print, and ensure quality before parts move to the next stage.

**What You’ll Do**

+ Perform MIG welding on mild steel, sheet metal, and heavy plate
+ Read and follow blueprints, layouts, and work orders
+ Fit and assemble parts prior to welding for proper alignment
+ Set up your own welding equipment (wire selection, settings, etc.)
+ Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specs
+ Complete inspection and quality documentation
+ Use shop math to verify measurements (1/16”–1/32”)
