1. Good math skills required, i.e. converting fractions and decimals, basic algebra. Must be able to read a tape measure to 16ths of an inch.

2. Works from blueprints and shop drawings to lay out miscellaneous steel such as railings, stairs, fences, window guards, gates, columns and steel stairs.

3. Cuts, punches, and drills material as required.

4. MIG welds steel materials such as tube, angle and channel, ranging from 16 gauge to 1 2 thick. TIG welding capability of brass, aluminum and stainless steel is a plus.

5. Grinds materials to high finish standards.

6. Heavy lifting is required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

7. State certification by Badger Railing will be required.

8. Work is paid on a piece rate basis.
