Position Summary

The Department of Campus Wellness is interested in candidates with experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and who possess a strong commitment to undergraduate education through student engagement. As a part-time Wellness Curriculum employee, instructors will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing classroom instruction in a specific discipline of health and fitness throughout the academic year. Additionally, instructors will be responsible for evaluating and providing comprehensive services to students, in alignment with the division of student affairs’ Strategic Plan, that will advance student health and wellness. These courses fulfill the institution’s general education wellness requirements for graduation. This is a temporary assignment ineligible for any benefits offered by Spelman College.
