A medium sized consulting company with branches across South Africa is looking to hire a Wetland/Aquatic Ecologist.

Education & Qualifications

• Minimum of a BSc honours degree in the natural science field that incorporated some or all of the following: wetland and aquatic ecology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), soil science, botany, hydrology, and environmental science.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience conducting in‑field wetland delineations and impact assessments, and aquatic studies independently with minimal or no supervision.
• SASS5 accreditation will be advantageous, but the candidate must have experience with the methodology and aquatic assessments.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
• Must be willing to travel nationally, and internationally if necessary.
