A medium sized consulting company with branches across South Africa is looking to hire a Wetland/Aquatic Ecologist. Education & Qualifications Minimum of a BSc honours degree in the natural science field that incorporated some or all of the following: wetland and aquatic ecology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), soil science, botany, hydrology, and environmental science. At least 1 to 2 years of experience conducting in‑field wetland delineations and impact assessments, and aquatic studies independently with minimal or no supervision. SASS5 accreditation will be advantageous, but the candidate must have experience with the methodology and aquatic assessments. Must have a valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience. Must be willing to travel nationally, and internationally if necessary.
