Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Lead wire harness design, development, and implementation activities for new and existing products.

  • Review and approve wire harness drawings, schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), specifications, and engineering documentation.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, designers, and technicians.

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPDI) projects, product transfers, and engineering changes.

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to improve assembly processes, product quality, and production efficiency.

  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions related to harness failures, quality concerns, or manufacturing issues.

  • Support supplier qualification, component selection, and alternative component validation.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical, safety, customer, and industry standards.
