Job Description
In this position, you will be responsible for the testing and certification of Wi-Fi Access Points and controllers, leveraging over 7 years of hands-on experience in wireless networking. You will apply your deep theoretical and practical understanding of IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi 7) standards to ensure optimal performance and stability of wireless products within Charter’s network. Your role will involve designing and executing Wi-Fi test setups, developing comprehensive test cases and procedures, and utilizing advanced automation tools such as Spirent, Octobox, Keysight IxChariot, and OmniPeak for automation and analysis. You will troubleshoot complex Wi-Fi issues using protocol analyzers, packet sniffers, and Wi-Fi analyzers, performing root cause analysis across both over-the-air and backend network layers.
