Position and assignments

You join MIC’s Research & Innovation (R&I) team. R&I develops advanced microfluidic technologies to maximise their impact across highly varied fields: cell biology, soil remediation, water treatment, materials science… We work within collaborative research projects with the best European labs, with one goal: building microfluidic solutions that fit the market and the consortia.

The role mixes PCB design (and firmware development) with lab work alongside our microfluidics team. You also take part in the design, build, testing and iteration of fluidic instruments and platforms, integrating sensors, pumps or controllers to meet the expectations of our partners and the market. You drive the developments tied to electronics and embedded systems, adapting existing technologies to the specifics of microfluidics.
