Work schedule to fit Archives hours of operation 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Accuracy and attention to detail are critical.

Experience with standard computer programs and operating systems, namely Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Windows.

Knowledge of Dewey Decimal System and alphabetization.

Bending, stooping, reaching, climbing step stools, lifting boxes weighing up to 40 pounds. Extended use of keyboard or other equipment, time in front of computer screen.

Willingness to learn and practice rules and procedures of operation of the Archives of the Big Bend.

Preferred

Interest in History, especially Local/Regional. Ability to read cursive. Ability to read Spanish.

Experience in a similar or related job or environment such as an Archives, Library, Museum, or office.
