Workshop Supervisor

The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fleet maintenance workshop. This includes managing a team of technicians and mechanics, ensuring the timely maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining high standards of quality and cost‑effectiveness in service delivery.

Initiates automotive services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders and maintaining records.

Demonstrates commendable knowledge of faults identified over heavy trucks, vehicles, forklifts, and commercial vehicles.

Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to the driver’s description of symptoms; clarifying the description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
