As a Yard Operative, you will work in one of our branches as part of a dedicated team providing excellent customer service and completing the job efficiently. You will report to the Yard Supervisor and the Branch Management Team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries to the branch, highlight anomalies, and ensure secure, correct and timely storage in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Serve customers promptly and efficiently at all times.
• Maintain yard cleanliness, clearly identify stock, and raise low‑stock alerts to branch management.
• Operate a forklift truck to assist with picking and loading of company vehicles.
• Actively safeguard against theft of goods or company property by remaining security conscious.
• Collaborate with the team to keep the branch operating efficiently and effectively within company policy.
