JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Health, Wellness, & Program Director, the Youth Sports Instructor will represent the Old Colony Y in a positive professional manner, resulting in friendly, convenient and courteous service. The Youth Sports Instructor will be responsible for teaching classes as assigned. He/She is also responsible for the safety and well-being of all class participants.

JOB FUNCTION

1. Program/Department Responsibilities

¨ Instruction of assigned classes, teaching proper techniques and form of appropriate skills

¨ To have necessary sports skills and experience for teaching the schedule class, gym and outdoor areas

¨ To keep accurate attendance records and class records

¨ To evaluate students ability/level for proper placement
